As a certified Menopause Support Coach (MSCC), I’m here to walk alongside
women and help them through the journey of perimenopause, menopause, and
beyond.
My mission is to reframe the narrative around menopause and the midlife transition.
Instead of seeing it as something to suffer through or dread, I believe it can be a
powerful turning point, a chance to grow, feel empowered and rediscover a sense of
purpose.
With compassion, insight, and lived understanding, I offer tailored support, practical
strategies, and a safe space to explore this powerful life transition.

The Sunflower Sign: A Story from the Start of The Power in Pause
The Sunflower Sign: The Sign I didn't know I needed
One very grey October morning, I went on my usual daily walk with my dog Mabel
through the woods and stopped at my regular bench overlooking the field. It’s a
familiar spot, one I visit often for a moment of calm.
But that day, something unexpected caught my eye. Right there in the middle of the
field was a single sunflower, standing alone and golden. Just one. Bright and bold
against the dull October landscape. It hadn’t been there the day before, I'm sure of it.
I just stared at it, something about it felt almost magical, like a whisper of
encouragement on the wind. I couldn’t explain it, but it stopped me in my tracks. I
love photography so I took some time to capture this moment.
Later on, my son said to me “Mum, out of curiosity have you looked up the meaning
of a sunflower?” What we found gave me goosebumps: a lucky charm for
someone beginning a new career or job, a sign of good fortune, and a symbol
of positive opportunities ahead.
In that quiet, golden moment, everything clicked.
I took it as the nudge I needed, the universe gently pushing me forward. That
sunflower became my sign to say yes. YES to stepping into my purpose. YES to
helping women navigate menopause with strength and support. YES to creating The
Power in Pause.
And so here I am. That sunflower is incorporated into my logo, to remind me why I
started. It showed up when I needed it most just like I hope to do for the women I
support through this work.
